Healthy Lungs Month
Over 80,000 children in kindergarten through eighth grades learn about the hazards of smoking through our Healthy Lungs Month initiative. During the months of October and November, our volunteers lead lively, motivational classroom discussions about the dangers of tobacco.
Students learn valuable skills to help them understand Big Tobacco’s youth marketing tactics and methods to resist peer pressure.
